What is Rentistry?

Rentistry is a rent-reporting and credit building solution, designed to report your rental payment history securely, accurately, and seamlessly to all three leading Credit Bureaus. It was created to give you, the Renter, the same advantages as Homeowners when it comes to making sizeable and consistent monthly payments to build your credit and overall financial wellness.

Why is having a good credit score important?

Good or bad, your credit score impacts many parts of your life. Having a high credit score may give you access to more favorable interest rates on private loans, credit cards, and more. Credit scores can affect more than purchases, too. Property Managers and potential employers check credit scores, and student loan interest rates are greatly impacted by credit scores as well.

How does Rentistry remain compliant with laws and regulations?

Foxen complies with the responsibilities of a data aggregator as set out in the Fair Credit Reporting Act, including following protocols for the secure handling and transmission of consumer data and for the investigation of any consumer complaints that information reported to the Credit Bureaus contained inaccuracies.

What do I do if I wish to dispute the accuracy of my rental payment data?

Should you have any concerns about the factual accuracy of any rental payment information that your Property Manager submits about you to the Credit Bureaus via Foxen/Rentistry, you can find instructions for how to notify Foxen on our website at foxen.com/terms-and-conditions or you may email us directly at Rentistry@foxen.com.

What happens to my tradeline upon move-out?

Rentistry will securely and accurately close your tradeline at all Credit Bureaus in which you are being reported to. The tradeline will remain on your credit report and is not deleted upon closure/move-out.

Do I have access to my credit information through Rentistry?

Yes! You are invited to enroll in the Foxen Resident Portal to view your current credit score (updated monthly), track historic credit scores and progress, see previous reported rental payments, obtain useful credit score analytics, view areas for credit score analytics, and download a full credit report every month, at no charge to you. Click "For Residents" at the top of the website navigation, and then "Resident Login" to enroll in the portal.
