How do I request reimbursement?
If you need to file a request for reimbursement for damage to your personal contents or displacement costs relating to the Property Damage Liability Waiver Program, please contact your property manager within 48 hours of the incident.
The property manager will forward your request and information to Foxen, and Foxen will notify the Waiver incident administrator.
If your unit is unable to be occupied during this period, please work with your property manager to secure alternative living arrangements.
• If you must pay for alternative living arrangements (displacement costs), keep all receipts for review.
• Please consult the materials provided by your property manager to clarify whether the Property Damage Liability Waiver program you enrolled in includes reimbursement for personal contents damage or displacement costs, and, if so, for which incident types.
• If the accident is within the scope of the Property Damage Liability Program you are enrolled in, and if the total cost of damage in the incident does not exceed the program limit after payments have been made to the Property and other residents impacted by the same accident, you may be able to receive reimbursement for your temporary alternative living expenses or personal contents up to your Program limits.

As a reminder, the Property Damage Liability Waiver applies to certain accidental property damage caused by an enrolled Resident, like you, from fire, smoke, explosions, and water discharge and overflow. Please refer to your lease or the materials Foxen or your property manager shared with you for more details.
