If I co-own a pet with a family member or roommate, should we both submit the pet’s information in PetClear?
No - to avoid unnecessarily paying a verification fee for the same pet twice, each pet’s information should only be submitted once. If you co-own a pet with your roommate, a partner, or a family member, then designate one person to submit the pet’s information on their PetClear profile. The other co-owner(s) should select “I do not own a pet” in the questionnaire, and then complete the pet policy affirmations step. They will not pay a pet verification fee.
